Giving

They say the sophomore year is toughest and I believe it. I have two sophomores in my family.giving to the Vine

So it is with starting a church. When we started up, pastors were offering equipment and several who shared the vision were offering financial support, both within and outside our congregation. As founding pastor, I was focused on raising up support for our new venture. I have not spent as much time on raising support and we’re finding it is diminishing. At this point, we have some important bills we cannot pay. Going forward, if we cannot raise our income, we will need to look at reducing our costs in our two largest commitments – our building and the pastor’s salary. As it is, we have a very lean budget, geared towards outreach and growth, not maintenance. Let’s not retreat.

The Vine is supported solely by contributions from attendees and supporters of our vision. Contributions are tax-deductible.

We can receive your gifts in the following ways:

  • Enclose your cash or check in an offering envelope and drop it in the Sunday offering.
  • Mail a check and mail the envelope to the church:

  • Use your bank’s Online Bill Payment service to set up regular donations (or a one-time donation). Check with your bank if you have questions about online bill payments.
  • You may use a major credit card or check/debit card to make a gift online. We use Paypal, which enables you to give using a major credit card. You do not need a Paypal account to use this service. Click below to make an online gift.

  • Wall decorations – banners, paintings – must fit with our identity
  • Sound system – mixer board, microphones, cords, direct boxes, stands We’re borrowing now. Would like one we own.

Volunteering Your Services

Join a Volunteer Team

Leadership Team

Governing Board, Prayer for ministry and individuals, Leadership Development, Team Coordination, Special Events planning, Care ministry, Write policies.

Office Support Team: 

Help with setting up a functional office and for record-keeping, copying, communications and coordination of volunteers during the week

Worship Arts Team: 

Plan, lead & accompany worship experiences through music and visual arts – video, testimonials…

Community Service & Missions:

Plan, Promote and Coordinate community service projects and church planting in other places around the world.

Facilities: 

Design a worshipful, but non-churchy environment that can be transported, set-up, taken down, stored… repeat. Set-up & Tear-down of monthly & weekly worship services.

Promotion & Communication Team: 

Design, Produce & Distribute signs, flyers, pass-along cards, Internet materials: Website, Facebook, eNews, video

Hospitality Team:

Exuding unconditional positive regard, assure that each visitor is greeted, welcomed, introduced  and guided with warmth and sensitivity – from the parking lot to the worship center.

Children’s Discipleship Team:

Provide Biblical, age-appropriate training and worship experience for infants and children during worship and, eventually, at other times.

Small Group Discipleship Team: 

Setting up and supporting small groups for youth and adults
